how do i gain lean muscle for my entire body without gain or losing weight? i weigh 162lbs and am 16years old, about 6 foot height. i want to have lean muscle and not big bulky muscle. any suggestions? Arms are the most important to me to work out. Im on a legit diet as well.

Weight training is the best way to build muscle, but it also increases your metabolism. So, if you are already at your ideal weight, you will need to increase your intake of lean proteins...egg white omelets, chicken breasts and fish are the best bets. Also, to maximize your training, you should eat a snack of lean protein and carbs (eg peanut butter on a bagel, chicken sandwich on whole grain bread, etc) about 2-3 hours BEFORE you train. Then, within one hour of your workout, eat a high protein and carb snack.

Funny you should ask, just read it in our local paper, eat more protein, you should consume 1% of your body weight in protein whilst dieting, i.e. weight = 100kilo eat 100grams of protein
