Do you really want a tattoo like that? Don't you think it will be too painful to have to be reminded of this incident every day of your life?
It could also lead to embarassing questions when asked what it's about.
Think about it some more before you get it done...

Aw i'm so sorry I'm a guy and I don't know what you feel exactly. But I feel upset just reading the title of your question. Hmm well, maybe get the child's name with some wing's attached to it? like angel wings? If you had a name picked out or even if you didn't name him now.

Then gets some angel wings on each side of his name, one on each side so he's kind of floating up to heaven maybe put a little halo over the top of his/her name. You could also put some very small hearts all around it or somewhere on there. That's all I can think of. If you did what I suggest and do it right and in the way that you like then it could be a really nice tattoo. But you might think it's tacky. I think I would get my childs name with an angel wing on each side and the halo above the name too. That's what i'd do if my unborn child didn't make it.

You can use my idea but be prepared for me to used it in the future if I ever lose one. Dont' be pissed if you ever see a guy walking around with a similar tattoo on him. lol.

I hope you'll find a good suggestion for the tatoo so you can do some healing and feel better about it. Tattoos are therapy when you get one for someone who has passed or to mark a traumatic time in your life. Or to mark a good a time. It's therapy, and good for you.

Feel better okay? Your little angel will always be with you, don't forget that. You can still celebrate birthdays too, I know i would. Take care

do you know what you were going to name the child? or what sex it was? A good idea is talk to the artist you'd be surprised what amazing things they can come up with because they've seen people come in with similar ideas and they can throw some of the good ones at you and help you make it your own.
I had a friend that lost her baby due to a car accident when she was about 8months in. She got a woman that looked like a pinup (nude but VERY VERY tasteful) but she was pregnant. the breasts were covered mostly because the woman was standing quarter profile, the belly was beautiful and the woman was too, she had the woman smiling while touching her belly and a little bity tear running down the womans cheek. You couldnt see the tear well but the artist made her 'mascara' run so you could see it more. VERY beautiful and touching.

Good luck with your loss and i hope you find the perfect tattoo

Maybe a set of wings surrounded by clouds. Someone once told me that the length of time a person spends on earth depends upon the amount of work that needs to be done to get into heaven. Newborns only have to spend a moment here on earth because they are already near perfect souls. So, your were privileged enough to have carried a perfect angel.
I am sorry for your loss.

i'm sorry to here of your lost! Have faith and know your child is in the heavens safe, loved and happy. Someday you will rejoin. You can put a baby angel with mother angel kissing each other. Thats a blessing. Keep your tatoo with respect, love and your heart & soul.

to represent a lost child i would use the Greek word for Jesus, which is IXOYE to show that it wasn't a mistake and that u still believe that things will change for the better. I am sorry for ur loss. I will prey for you.

It should be something that reminds you of your unborn child. Something that you look at and it instantly reminds you of your baby. Sorry for your loss.

Have faith in God. My mother gave birth to a dead child in 1967, I believe and ever since God is the answer to her depression.
