Four years ago everyone was ( Or so it seems ) was voting for Mr Bush. Now, no one will admit to voting for the man. How in the world did he win if no one voted for him?

because they have just realised they were fooled and deceived by the biggest con artist in world history. Its about time his crap floats to the surface for all to see. dont deny it. the whole world knows that. those who insist on voting for him still are just fools who cant handle the truth about him.

Because less people voted for Kerry. Whether your on the left or right, Kerry was kind of a bad candidate for the democratic party. Bush could've been easily beaten with almost anybody else running against him.

I voted for him, twice. I am not ashamed of my choice. The beauty of America is that we do not have to share our voting record if we don't want to.

Edited :)
And the appropriate answer to your question is - - because we are bashed if we admit it. Notice that all those in favor of Bush have received an outrageous number of thumbs down, when the only thing stated is that they voted for Bush. So much for free speech

I did, and I am not ashamed for having done so. What I am ashamed of is the fact that very few of the rank and file of Americans have the presence of mind, or the guts to do their part to tell their representatives how they feel. If you haven't been a writer, emailer, or phone caller to tell your representatives in Washington how you feel about issues, then by default you have agreed with, and supported EVERYTHING that our government, and President Bush has done. How does that grab'ya, President Bush bashers? No speak to gov' officials, but whine afterward, then by default you have agreed with him. Oh I know that you'll whine about this as well, but it is true. No input to the government, then you are as much at fault as those you wish to bash.

I am sure liberals will say he got elected by fraud and not votes, plus what does it matter? That was 4 years ago, voting is PRIVATE, you know the little voting booths, so people don't need to say who they voted for. Plus people only have 2 options, and vote party line way too often. I would love to see more options/parties when voting for President.

Becuase no one wants to be ridiculed on who they voted for. It makes for a very uncomfortable situation, and challenges their personal decisions. I personally do not like to cast my vote for someone, and get ridiculed for it. If I felt I was going to be attacked, lose friends, or family on the basis of who I voted for, I wouldnt admit it either. Who you vote for is a private matter, and its really no one elses business who you voted for.

Because some people are embarrassed to admit they voted for Bush and don't want to get ridiculed.

I did and that i do not favor to make excuses for balloting for him. both party equipment did not in simple terms take position, so those that are complaining the loudest must have exercised their proper to vote for the different party. The warfare in Iraq became occurring at the same time as he ran the second one time. to blame some different person on your movements is in simple terms immature and refusing to shoulder your own duty on your movements.

I unfortunately did because at the time I voted a straight Republican ticket. But have since seen the error of my ways. If I can find a Democrat running who doesn't believe in abortion I would check him out.. but it seems that they all do.
