The United Atates should invade Africa make them states use there natural resources and enlist there men to go fight in Iraq. Then the world is ours!!!

Too late, my friend... The Chinese are already there. China just got the deal with African nations for modernizing and building African infra-structure development. Soon enough, Chinese industries and factories will be operating there. In return, Africa would supply China with oil and other raw materials to feed China's ever-growing industries.
The U.S. had the opportunity to do this during the last decade. But it didn't. It had been focusing too much of its attention in the Middle East. Now, it is engaged in a war with no end in sight.
China was successful in gaining its foothold and influence in African soil without firing a single shot. To me, this is a very smart and crafty Chinese invasion. The Africans even welcomed it without the slightest opposition.
As I'm typing this, China is currently negotiating deals with some South American nations (Brazil and Venezuela as a start). The U.S. had neglected this region for the past decade too. It's just a matter of time for China to be able to gain its foothold there, then the Chinese invasion will be complete. By that time, the U.S. will still be engaged in its war in the Middle East.

You couldn't even restore law and order in poor Somalia, let alone AFRICA in general. Your @ss got kicked in Somalia,, remember the Battle of Mogadishu?. Your so called highly trained Rangers got their A S S pinned down by a mob of armored Somalians with AK's and RPG's. Don't tell me the story every American tells which is that the Rangers were only few and were fighting the "entire Somalis in Mogadishu". I was a reporter and stationed in Mogadishu then. U.S. Rangers couldn't take down 16 hour of gun battle with Aidid's militia, in the Habr Gedir neighborhood, which the rest of Somalians hated, so why would the ENTIRE SOMALIANS fight against the Rangers. It was ONLY Aidid's miltiamen against U.S Rangers. Well, you always say number doesn't matter if you are highly trained, yet your get your a s s kicked. They didn't even killed 1000's like they claimed, the Somali death toll was not over 300. Including the wounded was 1000.
You can deploy 18-20 year olds to Somalia, where the average Somali has being carrying a gun for a decades. Talk about a war expriences, it is in Somalia. Not American soldiers, who just graduate from a Boot camp.

Yeah. so where are we going to get the troops to invade Africa. Clinton tried that and failed miserably. Our men would get a lot of dieases. Malaria, AIDS, Ebola, etc. Guerilla tactics in the Jungle will wittle away our troops. We ended up needing more troops to hold Africa, than we will gain. This is not a game of risk. Beside, its easier to control Africa, if we get some of them to do our dirty tricks. You think Ethiopa would have went to war with out our encouragement. They couldn't win a war with Eritea.

LoL, do you really think americans want to go and kill people? We were worried that Iraq would harm us, because saddam hussein was the only person alive on earth who had used chemical weapons. He also had a grudge with the US and tried to kill Bush Sr even after he wasnt in power.Those two traits dont go well together.
Seriously, if we wanted to use other people to fight for us, we would just use illegal mexicans. Thats alot easier than invading africa.

Great idea... only one small problem. The US was already in Somali and had to leave with its tails between their legs. How do you actually plan to take the whole continent if your "Elite Units" can't even pacify Somalia, a job eventually done by Ethiopia?

we tried using Africans in Angola, when we fought the cubans there but, it didn't work when the shells started flying they couldn't be found , but, when we captured some of the enemy they sure knew how to torture them, as long s they were not armed and helpless, as guards they would talk to one another so loud the cubans knew where they were and slip in and cut their throats, or they would be asleep and the same thing happened, they were less than worthless.
