All we have to do is say amen and accept Pat Robertson into our hearts. Oh yeah...and hate gays.

We can't.

Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outsid you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness" Matthew 23:27

"So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practise what they preach. They tie up heavy loads and put them on men's shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them." Matthew 23:3

"Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law" Romans 3:31

"What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means!" Romans 6:15

"Do not merely listen ot th eWord and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the Word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it - he will be blessed in what he does." James 1:22

"In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." James 2:17

"Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live asservants of God" 1 Peter 2:16

"If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth." 1st John 1:6

"For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord." Jude 1:4

If you sin, thinking "I can sin because I'll just be forgiven later" then you are abusing God's offer of forgiveness and grace and that will not be honored.

Nah, it's kinda boring, actually. I'd rather feel the flames against my skin before I'm snatched out of eternal torment -
more fun that way.
