kaliroadrager, Judas was the bravest and the most loyal of the disciples. He was the only one with the integrity and fortitude to help his beloved Jesus complete his mission, even at the cost of eternal damnation. Judas saved us by sacrificing the Lamb of God.

correct. Actually Judas was used. He was set up and realized it in the end. He was chosen. A victim of fate. If you really look at it he was a hero. God, having grown accustomed to animal sacrifices demanded a human sacrifice, whether he sent him or not the fact remains, God demanded a human sacrifice.

That is a good question. I believe so, then Christianity would not come to existence.
So should the Christian thank Judas for what happen to Jesus?

No, I think even Judas could not stop God, in fact, vice versa, Jesus foretold of the one betraying Him, read it for yourself,,,,book of Matthew. Jesus talked to all the disciples at that last meal together, saying seriously, one of you is going to betray me......Jesus had this way of being God on earth but He never lorded it over anyone......He instead gave Judas his right to act freely.

We all come short of the glory of God (or any chance of being with Him,) except for those that believe in Him shall have everlasting life.

We have freedom and peace and Life with God through Christ, I would not want to stand in God's way when he has a plan......Prophecies have a way of being fullfilled when God is the one telling the prophecy

Thats an interesting question.
If i understand, the real question posed is if Christ had not been able to give his life would we all go to hell?
The answer is Yes. No light, and as Wat says in A Nights Tale, "Pain, Lots of pain". And regret beyond your ability to understand.

Getting into what ifs on this is pointless, personally. It happened and others are free to believe what they think, but Christians have what they see as their truth and should be free to believe such. Whether you feel it is right or wrong. That is free will.

There is no Hell. It was made up by early Christians to make people give the church more money.

Umm... I should think not.

The entire purpose of Jesus coming down to earth was to save us, and he wouldn't let a single man change all that.
