you'll never make real money at kia or suzuki unless you are a very good crook. i worked for suzuki for a brief time and the only way to make money was to lie.

This is a very tough question: Toyota and Honda's are given away just like kia, but you sell a ton of them. So if you really work your butt off, you can make money. Domestic brands are hurting right now, the pricipals like to load the floor and the traffic is down.

The best place to work is for the best automakers. BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, maybe audi. Most of these dealerships will hold gross to a point, their flats are usually higher, and you work less. But to work for the best, you have to be the best. IF you are not a top flight advisor, go to toyota or honda

I have numerous years in the car industry, and truthfully car sales as a whole are down everywhere. I would say move to another location, just remember that if you have been doing this for some time, you may lose alot of your repeat customers, which in the end is the only way to succeed in this business. If you are planning on switching, go to either Toyota, or Honda. You may also want to try a high level used car dealership, that has a few hundred used cars in stock. The grosses here are usually higher, and so are commissions. Alot of the highest paid people in the business don't work at new car dealerships any longer......

Toyotas can't be beat for reliability. They sell for more money so your commission would be better there. I say switch to selling Toyotas!

I would highly recommend changing dealerships and models. My recommendation - Honda or Toyota. Those cars sell themselves and they sell OFTEN.

"Sales" is tough, especially cars, try "Leasing" thats what my brother did after car sales was too much of a hassel, do "Fleet leasing".
