There are rude people and bullies in every walk of life, that's just how it is. Here on the internet there are more because many that wouldn't dare say all those things in public, feel they can do it here where no one knows their real name or where they live. I guess it just makes them feel all 'cool' and big but really most bullies are insecure themselves. Nothing much you can do about it, just read the normal questions & answers and ignore the rude stuff, don't let it get to you.

Here I will tell you how it is I have not asked a question on here. This might make me sound crazy, but what the heck. I grew up with a set of parents, very intelligent. There was one thing they taught me about asking a question. They would tell me that the clue to the answer comes in the form of a question. Since I learned how that little play on words works, I have been mute with questions.

Because some people feel better about themselves for an instant by putting others down. Don't feel to bad, after about a minute they remember that they are the true losers that have low self esteem. Some people just don't grow up. Ignore them.

I understand what you mean.....I answer a lot of religious questions and they would email me back saying I was judgemental or I would burn in hell. I'm a Christian, so I dissallowed emails after hearing advice from the police (this one atheist kept harrassing me.)

If people don't like the answer, why did they ask it over the World Wide Web in the first place?? It boggles my mind also, I like answering questions, its fun and I get to share my opinions/experiences. Don't be discouraged.......

You are correct. But this is not a perfect world and you are on the internet. If I were you I would develop a thicker skin and I would report the worst offenders so that their posts get deleted. If you can't or are unwilling to do this then maybe this is not a healthy forum for you to spend your time. Good luck to you.

I think most of the those rude people are just trying to get 2 points and have nothing informative to say.

Theyve got alot of repressed anger and hatred that they have no legitimate outlet for. So they go to places where they can be mean anonymously and not get in trouble because they know they could never do that in public or in society and still be accepted.

Make sense?

If that seems to be the pattern you recognize the most every time, I'd have to guess that just about describes most members in general

I agree. I once posted a question & this girl Kate with her friend Kelly responded with a really rude answer, then she had the nerve to post a question about me regarding that same question that i asked. These 2 girls were harassing me for a while. I had to REPORT them to Yahoo for abuse several times. What is up with that? I don't know why people are weird like that. If they don't like your question, then they shouldn't bother answering it. LOSERS!

De-sensitivity.....
we tend to be rude in person only when really pushed or having a bad day....(well me anyway) but on-line....hell no one knows you or can see you....or you them....it makes it easy to be ugly and hateful and rude.

its a shame, but its true. Our true feelings and actions come out when we cant be held accountable 100% for them.
