Maybe cause I was eating alot of bread? I think i had a beer a coupe days after i got it done i dont know i forgot.

you ******* idiots. a monroe is above your lip, like where Marilyn Monroe's mole was. halfwits. learn something about piercings before you try to comment on them.
and.. it could be infected because your piercer did not properly sterilize everything before/while piercing, or it could just be that you havent been cleaning it enough/properly. also, piercings have "ups and downs". one day, a new piercing feels perfectly fine, the next it may be a little sore. it happens during healing [which you probably know, due to your lip piercings].. the best bet to fix your monroe is to see your piercer, and you may have to take it out. let it heal, then get it redone. also, make sure you use sea-salt soaks to clean it, if you havent already. they are really good for oral piercings.

Probably not rinsing your mouth out often enough. Or cleaning around the piercing.
