Don't get all pissy about it either, I heard this somewhere and since I don't read the bible I figured I'd ask those of you who do.

actually I'm not making this up, I read it somewhere that he was a drunkard and a glutton, but if bashing me makes you feel happy...go ahead...God will forgive you.

yes, he was always drinking wine in the bible, and hanging out with his 'boys'(need I say more? nudge nudge, wink wink,)

Not quite, but Scripture does have something along these lines in it. While the Bible never says anything about Jesus sinning, the drinking was most likely true, to a degree. Look at the following verse from Luke 7:33-35

33For John the Baptist has come eating no bread and drinking no wine, and you say, “He has a demon”; 34the Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, “Look, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax-collectors and sinners!” 35Nevertheless, wisdom is vindicated by all her children.’

Here, we see that some of Jesus' opponents try to take away Jesus' credibility by saying that because he drinks, he must be a drunkard; that because he eats when the pious don't, he must be a glutton; and because he socializes with the underbelly of society, he must be exactly the same as them. Like today, it is easier to distort the truth about people we dislike or rely on stereotypes than to try and look at the whole person and what they are all about. It is ironic that there are Christians today who would be quick to judge Jesus as being the wrong kind of person, if they saw what he was like.

I would never bash you. There were and still are many people named Jesus. Some, I am sure are drunkards and gluttons. But, not Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son. He was sinless that is the reason that He and only He was qualified to become the sacrifice for our sins. Because we were born with a sinful nature, we all sin.

Belief that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God and that He is your Lord and Savior and repentance (to turn away from) for your sins, is the only way to eternal life.

I would like to invite you to read God's written word, the Bible to learn more about Jesus and to have a personal relationship with Him.

We are told in the Bible that He was accused of many things that He did not do. He does however, love people who are drunkards, liars, thief's, homosexuals, murders, adulterers prostitutes, and more. That means all of us.

Since you don't read the bible here are the scriptures for you to get the full understanding:

Matthew 11:16-17

(Jesus speaking)
16"To what can I compare this generation? They are like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling out to others:
17" 'We played the flute for you,
and you did not dance;
we sang a dirge
and you did not mourn.' 18For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, 'He has a demon.' 19The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and "sinners." ' But wisdom is proved right by her actions

Jesus went against the religious trend. He hung out with those society despised. And yet he boldly proclaimed God's message fearlessly in the face of those who didn't like it. Understandably he made some enemies. Ironically they were the religious leaders who were outraged because he threatened their statu quo. Scripture records they accused him of sitting with sinners and winebibbers(drinkers). He came to love and save all people and was not afraid of what people thought of him..

Did Jesus drink?

Yep. Turned water into wine in fact. But it doesn't say that he was ever drunk.

Did he commit a bunch of sins? Nope. There is no record of him sinning ... of course, that record is the new testament, so of course there is nothing there.

But as far as can be figured from the bible, no, he never sinned.

No, there are other people in the Bible that could fit that description. There are also so-called books left out of the Bible that call Jesus as a child that gets into trouble, but they can not be proven.

Maybe you ought to read the Bible and then you wouldn't ask such inflammatory questions.

No, He was sinless. That is the answer.
