Has Christ ever prevented or stopped the EVERYDAY crimes against defenseless animals, innocent children, good women, elderly people or mentally-incompetent and physically-illed men?

If he reigns with the Father then what has he done to make this a better world to live in?

Where is his COMPASSION and POWER?

Decent humans have done more to help others than Jesus has.

Moonshot:

Are you saying that free will gives anyone permission to prey on innocents?

Ouch! That's an insentient god that you worship, bro!

What? Does he cover his eyes or watches when a kid gets raped right before his eyes?

I'm in a human body, just another incarnate with limitations, and I wouldn't allow such a thing to happen if I can prevent it somehow.

You are the one who will get a surprise when you transition to Spirit and find out what your "Savior" is really made of.

What have you done to stop the harrassment of Christians against non-believers of your non-existent god?

And don't put yourself on the spot man! If you say that your god can work through men's heart then we haven't seen very much good yet! Look at this world right now!

Do you even watch the news bro?

Shaolt2002:

Hey...the Bible is a book inspired by angels and written by mystics. Those mystics were humans like us but they were more receptive to Spirit and were often optimistic.

The Bible has yet to prove that Jesus is Lord and no one will never be able to.

Can we prove Jesus is not God with all the non-stop and unspeakable wickedness in the world?

I think you can answer that all by yourself.

Angry Moogle:

I think that every religion does believe that there are people on the Other Side who can influence us to do good or bad and it neccesarily doesn't have to be from the veritable soul of The Original Creator.

You know, I have another anecdote to counteract yours...

Several years ago a man in Virginia, who a friend of mine met, was driving his vehicle when he saw a vision of the well-known pedophile prophet Sai Baba. The vision had told him to go to a certain bookstore and get Sai Baba's new books.

Sure enough, when the guy arrived to the bookstore and asked for the books, the clerk told him that he had just gotten new books and memorabilia of Sai Baba that very same day.

The group of angels that work around the prophet wanted to make a believer out of this man, they wanted to convert him and possibly further their religion.

That's all to their advantage, not an aid to us as a whole society in great need of help.

Angry Moogle:

Krishna, Buddha, Muhammed and other prophets also performed miracles as astonishing as those found in the Bible.

Criss Angel and David Blaine are modern examples of Jesus of Nazareth.

Also, there's compelling evidence from experts that Jesus escaped death on the cross and went on to live in Kashmir, India, and died at the age of eighty.

Perhaps the ressurection is not a myth after all! Rapid healing might had taken place thanks to thousands or millions of angles who worked around him and granted Gifts of the Spirit to make him a god icon and strengthen their hierarchy in the Mid Realms... ;)

In fact, more lives have been taken in the name of Jesus Christ than any other....
Atheist police men save more lives than christians.....
But then again, so do Christian police men.
But clearly, it wasn't Jesus that saved the lives. It was the people. I don't think Jesus has done much of that for about 2000 years.

Can I take from your question that you do not believe in him? Then why rage at a God you don't believe in? And if you do believe in him then what have you done to stop abuse of innocent children, good women etc. He can work through mens hearts to make a change if they are willing.

In response to Molly M's statement. I really wonder what they are teaching you in history class. Have yo not heard of the Communist revolution. There were over 40 million people killed in these officially atheistic revolutions. But I guess it is an inconveniant truth to mention. Scary numbers they massed in such a short period of time.

I donate to amnesty international. I also give to charities and collect moeny for them. And in a smaller way I come hear to try and reson with reasonable minded people. I have to lauh at the compelling evidence that Jesus escaped death on the cross and lived in Kashmir. This is just one of unending attempts by those uncomfortable with the life and words of Jesus. They use to theorize he didn't even exist. Then there was the swoon theory. Then there are the countless stories of his body and death being concealed by the Catholic church, and just rececently someone is claiming to have uncovered his remains and those of Mary Magdelen. This is quite laughable as those who present the story act like it recent news. This discovery has been known for 30 years and has been to court proving its fraud. What particularly makes me laugh is the attepted use of DNA. This jargon may sound scientific but what good does it do if you don't know what Jesus DNA was in the first place. Oh well contravercy sells and their seems to be no shortage of hunger for conspiracy theories. I should note as much as these sell allot of books they all end up on the ash heeps of history. Anyone with a half open mind soon discoveers the evidence for the death and resurrection of Jesus is quite compelling. Anyone interested should obtain the book evidence that demands a verdict by Josh Mcdowell. Or ready with an answer by John Ankerburg

There was a comic strip once that went something like this:
First Guy "You know, I would like to ask God why he allows so much pain and suffering in the world."
Second Guy "Then why don't you?"
First Guy, "I'm afraid he would ask me the same thing."

Point being, His compassion and power must be played out through us.

Course, you might say, "well that proves nothing of his power, that just means that we have to take it upon ourselves to do something."
And to an extent, that is true. But God also prompts Christians to do something about it.
For instance, there's a christian guy who was so moved by an experience he had in India that he felt God was calling him to help in the child slavery cases there. He started up the International Justice Mission.
You can see what it does here: http://www.ijm.org

So because that guy revered Jesus and what he taught so much - he started an organization that is getting children out of slavery and forced prostitution.
I think that has merit.

Edit:
hmmm ... I wasn't aware that Sai Baba was a pedophile. Are you reffering to Sai Baba of Shirdi or one of the guys that has claimed to be his reincarnation?

But that's a digression from the point.
I think the key to what your asking is going to have to come ... for you ... from the heart of what the particular faith preaches. Jesus tried to teach us to help those that were in need of it. Everywhere he went, before he preached, he always tried to meet the physical needs of the people. Even if you ignor the miracles ... he still had to have at least helped the lepers, blind, crippled, and deaf to get to the point where He alienated himself from the jewish hierarchy.
And even later on, in the same spirit, Paul wrote that we should do whatever we can to aid widows and those in need of care.

Even if you don't take Christ as a diety, we have to at least acknowledge that he tried to pass the torch of helping others on.

we on this earth today are the ones that cause all of the hate and violence, is god suppose to come down here and spank all the bad guys, yeah right, that what police are for, you expect him to come down here and fix it all so we can just mess it up again, dude read the bible, dont insult god, you may have to face him one day

although as far as innocence goes its not right but god didnt do all those horrible things, hes just up there watching us mess up and when he cant stand it no more, the end will be.
