Faith is not an inborn trait, rather it is taught and learned.

If you raise a child in a solely secular fashion (with absolutely no mention of a god figure), that child will not develop a god belief.

Identifying the Only True God
ALMOST as long as humans have existed, they have had many gods. There have been so many that it is difficult to put an accurate figure on the number of gods and goddesses worshiped throughout the earth—but it runs into the millions.

Having established that there is a God, we now ask, Which of all the gods worshiped throughout the earth, now and in the past, is the true God? That there is only one true God who can be identified as such is clearly stated in the Bible at John 17:3: "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."

As a child we usually believe what our parents teach us.But later in life, we may learn different, parents may teach many things. They do not always teach children the truth. I believed my mother when she told me about Santa Clause, and the Easter Bunny, later, my best friend told me different.I asked my mother why she lied to me about that and many other things.

we cant give it a name but we believe in one.

instead of two or three or three in one etc

the natural tendency is to believe in one

this tendency surfaces in the following questions:

who created the earth? who created me? why am I here? etc

most of these questions are geared to look for a source...usually a single source
