why do girls like "bad boys"?

I think there are multiple reasons. For one most "bad boys" are very spontaneous. Women, especially young women, seem love spontaneity. Also bad boys tend to not be shy, are more outgoing, and not afraid to take a chance on a girl. Plus for the most part they fulfil the primal urge of hunt and gathering. So if they see something or someone they want they go after it. Women like being pursued and even though many say "No means no." I have watched one too many women go out with guys after a couple of months of persistance.
So to answer the question...girls like being pursued by outgoing, persistant, spontaneous guys and having a tatoo and a motorcycle doesn't hurt his image.

Probably heard this a million times, I know I have, but some people say the reason girls like bad boys is because all the good ones are taken. I think the reason some girls like bad boys is due to the fact that a lot of people want to have some thrill in there life. So some girls have a hard time doing that, so they think that a bad boy will provide them with the thrill. That’s only what I think about that, there maybe other reason why but that’s kind of what I think.

Hi Christina....your question is fun--and the second part is why do guys like wild girls??? It is the thrill of the chase and the rebel we wish we could be. You know bad boys just wait for girls to chase them and wild girls just love it when the boys chase them. And you know moms and dads hate the people we choose to date---but moms and dads did the same thing--so relax and have fun--BE CAREFUL and don't stay with these wild people too long--just a little to have some fun--they really offer no future--except a stressful future if you stay too long. Bad boys are born --not made--don't TRY to be a bad boy if you really aren't--it looks silly and wild girls are just as awkward--usually too loud and real obnoxious--so have fun and good luck

Depends on what you mean by "bad boy." Some take being a "bad boy" to mean being an asshole. Assholeness then is equated to masculinity, when all assholeness is... just assholeness.

It is sad when being a caring partner, a good husband and a good father is considered less masculine than being an asshole.

All to often men try to be THE MAN, rather than being a man. Why women go for that, I don't know. One can be a good person, yet live according to their own rules.

Bad boys don't care. They exude sexiness. Sometimes they dress hot. They're masculine. They're also bad, like the name suggests. Girls are drawn in and then hope to be the one that'll change him. It just doesn't happen like that! What will happen is that those girls will go on to get hurt, time after time, until finally they'll realize they need a good guy. Nice guys don't finish last.

Stop the vicious cycle while you are young. The exciting bad boy image gets really old when you are married to a guy that is that sort.
