I asked 7 people which languages would they like to speak. 2 people said spanish. 2 people said chinese. 1 person said japanese. 2 people said Italian. and 1 person said nahuatl. How do I put this information into a PIE CHART?

Your list says you asked 8 people, 2, 2 1,2, 1. Am I right? If so you would need a pie cut into eights.
Make a circle, cut it in half one way, then cut it in half the opposite direction, then angle cut each quarter in half again. Now you have eight pieces! Mark 2- Spanish, 2 -Chinese, 2- Italian, 1- Japanese and the last 1- Nahuati. A Perfect Pie Chart!

Divide the # of people per language by the total number of people. Take this percentage (should be a decimal number) and multiply that by 360 (360 degrees in a circle). That will give you the degree amount for that part of the circle. Draw it in with a protractor and repeat for the other languages.

Or use excel. Type in your data, highlight, and click on the graph symbol. Then you basically follow the wizard and you're good to go.

follow this path: click
start - all programs - MS-office - microsoft excel
open an excel worksheet ;
now click on insert menu , select the 'CHART' option
then in the standard types select the "pie" option in it and type the details in accordance with ur information & that's over.....
