There are many prophetic statements told by prophet Muhammaed about angel Gabriel who took prophet Muhammad's heart away, washed it, cleaned it, and put it back in prophet Muhammad's chest. Prophet Muhammad said that the purpose of that cleaning was to wash out evil feelings from his heart.
The strange thing is that teher are many of prophet Muhammad's companions who said that they saw marks on his chest left over from that washing operation!
Did this really happen?

I am afraid you people missed my point - even if I believe that angels can do heart operations 1500 years ago, I am confused why did they have to wash his heart? we all know now that hate and all other bad feelings are in our brains not in our hearts. I am heer talking sience not literally

Well why not. In religion everything is possible including the impossible. Another prophet died and then came back-at least that is what a couple of his friends say. I have personally seen the tooth fairy.

It could have been figurative speech also.
Doesnt matter much to me, as far as am concerned, youre missing the whole point. Find out why his heart had to be purified first.
