Apple juices as the name suggests is plain juice extracted from apples,in the right category of non alcholic drinks,the drink made from fermented apple,is cider,clearly an alcoholic drink.

apple juice is just that juice from an apple.
apple cider is cooked apples ground up and some spices are added and then strained.Least thats how Grandma did it

apple juice is just the juice of the meat of the apple. apple cider, they grind up the entire apple (including the core).
