It depends what style of music your band is playing. Regardless though, you can do some very simple things.
If you smoke, stop. It increases your ranges to the likes of Ella Fitgerald, Steve Perry or Ozzie Osbourne. Mariah Carey doesnt smoke and neither does Celine. Not that you want that sound, but just an example. Likewise, pull it all from your diaphragm. Like yooure trying to cough it out from your stomach. Thats the best way I can explain it. Drink lots of water, juices, anything to get the body flowing smoothly and replenishing the energy you lose while singing. Next just envision what you want, and mimic that idea in your head, through your voice. Give it a whirl and let me know how it goes Axel.

Okay i'm a singer too! You need to breath from your diaphram, and when your warming up hummmm. When you hum it does no hurt your voice. One of the most important thing to do is DRINK WATER! Soda has sugar that dries your vocal cords! To practice breathing from your vocal cord sing "Hah Hah Hah Hah Hoo Hoo Hoo Hoo Hah Hah Hah Hah Hoo". Curl your fingers in a oval at rest them on you diaphram, and make sure you fell a sucking of you stomach. If this happens them you should be in good use in your diaphram.

Honestly, I'm sure you've heard it before, but it's all about breathing from your diaphram. A lot of people told me this, but I didn't honestly know what it meant until I got a coach to help me. Try a singing coach or a speech and diction teacher. Good luck to you!

go and take lessons! How can you be so naive as to call yourself a lead singer, when you don't know anything about singing!
I sure hope you did better in driver's ed...
