If he has anything to say about it, he will. He wants to be treated like anyone else.

Harry is NOT the Prince of England. He is the Prince of Wales. As for battle action?Possibly in regard to IED's on the road. Depends on where his tanks are needed. Any place in Iraq can quickly become a battle zone.

He may or may not. It doesn't really matter, he had the balls to volunteer, which is more than can be said for all the chickenhawks who want war but are too afraid to fight.

For example, "Chicken George" Bu**sh**, Dickless Chicanery, Dumb Donald Rumsfelch, Rush Limpballs, Ann-orexic Coulterhorse, Sean Halfwitty, Shrill O' Liarry, Tony "the poodle" Blair, etc. ad infinitum.

The minute Harry sets foot in Iraq, in uniform, he will have more battlefield experience than all those clowns put together.

A Prince of England - Harry is going over to Iraq. Yes.

Action? Not if the British plan on removing their troops by the end of 2007. The details of deployment of Harry's regiment are not being disclosed...so unless he is injured / captured / killed - no one will know about it.

mixed. Given he has chosen a military career, it really is sweet that he ought to favor to serve with the troops he educated with. yet he's not any longer only a reconnaisance troop chief. If his political identity is going to make his regiment's operations extra tricky, or placed his colleages at more suitable probability, then i'm able to make sure the case, for those motives yet no longer for his own probability, for no longer allowing him to pass to Iraq. (It became Prince Andrew, no longer Charles, who flew a helicopter interior the Falklands warfare. yet there became absolute self belief there of him being "singled out".)

I hope he gets what he wants. He's still a Prince and will be protected whether he likes it or not. But the fact that he wants to go shows alot of character.

He will be commander of a 12 man recon unit, with heavy armour support.
Plus he'll have an S.A.S. force around.

So basically his only true threat is going to be going over an IED.
as he'll observe and report, and call in fire support.

Its a rather safe deployment.

But if you want to see cushy deployments -- check out our commander in chief and his 'deployment' in Vietnam

How bush jr can carelessly keep our soldiers in harms way and ask more from them then he was willing to give to his country shows what a true leader shouldnt do.

hard to tell, I don't think it's fair one go and not both, think how that must make harry feel, that he is disposable, I know about protecting the heir and all that, but still not fair. Why not send Charles and Camilla, they have had a long life right? I just wish this whole mess never existed. I lost a brother due to Dessert Storm....

Iran has specifically targeted him for death and has procured specialized software to track and predict his movements. This software was leaked to the Soviets by renegade FBI agent Robert Hanssen.

Iran is waging sophisticated warfare in Iraq.

They may let him fire a shot or two--I know he got some sort of command. Maybe, Jenna and Barbara will come back from their South America Alchoholics tour to enlist and join him.
