I mean when they go out to clubs or bars... is this normal? Do other guys worry when their girls go out? We have been together for 5 years and I still worry. I hate it, I wish I could stop. I think its cause I think of all the guys that are going to come up and talk to her... and advise??

its either a trust issue, or its just the fact that you love her sooo much, and you worry about anything changing in your relationship...i think you should talk to her, because it seems that if you tell her how you feel, and be honest with her, she will be open with you and reassure your trust for her.

Well, since you two have ben together for so long, it is normal to trust her and if you dont u should sit her down and plane out aske her if you can trust her when she goes out. She will say yes of course, but it wil make her aware that u r concerned and she may stop what she might be doing

Before you do that, though, u should make sure that she is doing sumthing wrong. It is ok to got out w/ "the girls" and maybe u should go out with "the guys" sometimes to show to her what it feels like. Another idea is to maybe go to the same bar that she is going to w/ her friends and watch to see what she does. A little flirtatiosness isn't harmful, but more than that, lets just say that you can now be concerned

I don't have any advice for you.. but I am in the same position as you. Jealousy and trust issues is probably a reason why you worry. But you need to think about things... Has she done anything to make you worry? I worry about girls talking to my boyfriend. But what I tell myself and others tell me is that if he respects me and loves me than he wouldnt do anything that would be out of line. Maybe you should talk to your girlfriend about things that you folks consider inappropriate to make sure you are both on the same level. For example, dancing with others, hugging, buying drinks...

I think it's normal, and for me, i would want my boyfriend to worry about me, because that would mean he cares. But, is this a trust issue? [since it's been 5 years]

if you must, go along with her, you know, have her and her girl pals with you and your guy pals, once you see how things are at the club, maybe you'll be more at ease.

I feel that if your in a relationship, your girlfriend shouldn't be going out clubbing. I use to go clubbing when I was single and we all know why guys go to clubs............and if she feeds you the classic line................." I just dance with the Girls " that's crap they go cause they wanna feel sexy and get attention my girlfriend loves and respects me which is why she doesn't do the whole club scene...

It is normal for you to worry, and of course not that you are insecure... My girlfriend used to go to clubs too, but she told her friends that she has to stop because it offends me,,, See how great she is? She quited what offended worried me... That's what you called respect. Oh Lord, I love her so much.
