There are several contestants for the title. But I think you have to look more regionally than in asking which country. The best non-hydro weed grown on the planet is probably from British Columbia, in western Canada, but back in the day as they say, there was awesome weed from Hawaii, Thailand and Mexico. The advent of hydroponics, and grow-ops, has made weed a universal recreational drug choice and it's quality has become redundant as the recipe for fast growth is paramount in growers and dealers agendas. naturally grown weed usually has a THC content around 10 to 15 percent, while grow-ops regularly produce weed with percentage content up around 30%. It is the homogeny of weed that has allowed prices to be artificially levelled around the globe at approxiamately $300 per ounce, when as little as thirty years ago an ounce of Thai stick or Hawaiian cost a whopping $75. You could buy a quaterpound of Jamaican back then for the same price, $75. Unlike almost everything else that has risen in price by about 70 to 100 percent over the last thirty years, weed has gone up by 1200 percent, even though overall costs have only risen marginally. Australia has some areas in the rainforests of New South Wales and far northern Queensland , where weed grows wild and is very good. But I don't think anywhere can claim to have the world's best weed. Each is good on it's own merit.

I've heard columbia, but I've heard that Oklahoma puts out stuff even better for that. Oklahoma isn't a country however so I'm not sure you are interested in that. We are a major farming state and it's one of our largest "cash crops" and it is found growing wild here all the time....
I wouldn't take my word for it 100%, look it up first. I wouldn't know from experiance, seeing as how I don't smoke the stuff, but the news here has reported on it quite a bit so I'm sure there is some basis of fact.

With the improvements made in science and technologies you should realize that the best pot is not grown particularly any where. Today indoor grow room are all over the world. Marijuana that is grown hydroponically is the best. Some of the best indoor stuff come from the best scientist with the best seeds. sometimes that is right here in NYC.
