I can't permanently remove windows messnger from my tray!!Plz help me remove it,PERMANENTLY!!!!!! P.S. Dont tell me anything about customizing notifications cuz i already kno about that.Thanks

Go into the options of it and tell it to not start up with windows. Alternatively you can go to START > RUN> type MSCONFIG, then go to the Startup tab uncheck windows messenger or whatever it's shortened to.

Go to Control Panel click on add/ remove programs then select add/ remove windows components, scroll down and uncheck the box for Windows Messenger.

Did you try to delete it?

go in program file
find it and delete it

or try that.

- click start

- execute

- type msconfig

click on the right section (boot)

unselect msn or all the software you don't want at your startup

beware to not unselect your anti-virus and firewall...

If you have your Outlook Express open, then you can't get rid of it.
Close it and then try to get rid of it
