Just like the elevator doors - they always close as I'm getting on! Man, what's up with that???

because you are a brilliant ray of light that triggers the photo optic sensor on the top of the light housing.
the elevator doors... maybe they are talking to the lights and i dunno...

your so funny: for the street lamps because you are more brighter than a light they shut off which is a good thing and for the elevator door I'm so sure that the elevator has someone Jack*** so it closes so you wont get stuck with someone like this ( chose a best answer after all

Actually I have seen something like that on Unsolved Mysteries. Where people have found out they could control things like that. One man was doing it with streetlights. It was pretty weird.
My aunt goes thru tons of watches because she makes them stop (not meaning to...)
Or could be just a weird occurance that you are paranoid about.

I don't know, I just don't know.
But there is a street light that goes off when I drive by it, doesn't go off when someone else drives by.
That's just one of those "hummm" kind of things.

i don't know the answer to those problems. however, i would avoid ladders, black cats, upside down horseshoes and cracks in the sidewalk. and go have your demons exercised
