Isn't there a Gnostic Gospel that says that Moses saw the burning bush and tried to put out the fire by urinating on it? That's when God spoke to him and told him to stand in the hot sand barefoot. It wasn't because it was holy land; it was pennance for taking a leak on the Big Kahuna.

Later when he was giving Moses the 10 Commandments, the 1st was originally "I am the Lord thy God, thou shalt not pee on Me." This apparently caused quite a stir among the Hebrews, because everyone was afraid to go behind a bush to do their business for the rest of the 40 years they wandered around the desert.

After Moses died, God spoke to Aaron and had him change it to "Thou shalt not have any other gods before me." and all the Hebrews were so relieved, that they started going pee on every bush they found. Thats why, even to this day, we pee on trees or behind bushes when we go camping...

Okay, maybe thats not in one of the Gnostic Gospels, but it should be. ROFLMAO!

No, actually he was curious as to why the bush was burning but wasn't consumed. As he approached it the voice of God spoke to him. Exodus 3

No, he didn't think that until the bush talked to him and told him to take off his shoes because he was standing on holy ground.
