I don't know about behavior or anything but medically, you have to be 15% below your normal weight to be anorexic. My doctor considers me clinically anorexic and yes, I'm a boy and no, I don't think I'm fat and I don't do it to diet. I just don't want to eat most times, so I don't.

Well, it depends on the eating disorder. But if it is anorexia or bulimia. I would remind them that cars need gas to run on. Without gas they will not run. Same thing with humans and food. Without food humans will not run.
