You may go directly there by clicking on the following link:

I would check with the hospitals in your area.
Most hospitals have diabetic classes which would include sample menus for various calorie diets. With all the new laws requiring patient teaching, most of these classes are offerred to the public free of charge. Also in most grocery stores, you will find little diet books near the registers that give you the calorie counts on most common foods and usually include some sample meals. Today, most of the diabetic meals are figured using food groups and varied serving sizes within the group to make each item equal, making it much easier to plan meals. They give you the size serving of each food in a group to equal a certain calorie level, so that you can interchange the items in the group without having to be a math wiz to figure out the calories.

sparkpeople.com is a great free fitness website that offers various meal plans. Also check out bodysport.com. Exercise is important as well! Make sure that with your body type and activity level, 1200 calories is enough to sustain yourself. Pick up foods like canned tuna and chicken, and make egg white omelettes for breakfast. Daily menus are easy to come up with yourself and actually tend to save you money at the grocery store - just use common sense.

Nutrisystem is based on a 1200 calorie per day diet. You don't even need a menu, except for things such as milk, fresh fruit and vegetables ... they ship all your food to you. That's pretty darned fast and easy! Good luck!

I don't have an menu exactly but this is a good guideline to get you with in 1200 and 1500 calories a day.
Breakfast
1 serving of "grain"
1 serving of "fruit"
1 serving of "dairy"
Lunch
1 serving of "grain"
1 serving of "protein"
2 servings of "vegtable"
1 serving of "friut"
Dinner
1 serving of "protein"
1 serving of "dairy"
2 servings of "vegtable"
1 serving of "fruit"
You can figure out servings by looking at the nutritional contexts on packets, but make sure to only eat what it says!! It seems like alot of food but if you eat very plain foods and reduce your processed foods (meaning in general anything premade, in a box, or plastic bag) it actually is not that much calories. The fiber keeps you full with out packing on calories. Anyway... good luck.
