Bro...
1.there is a saying ... "When u feel like going down use your ego to come up but when u have come up enough leave ego a aside." (didnt remember who has written it). But you can apply this concept to find out the solution.
2.Keep yourself as busy as you can. Its just a phase which will pass but in the end u must look back and try to learn from it.

i have depression too and just started cutting. i DO NOT RECCOMMEND IT!!! don't do it ever. the scars and marks it leaves on some peoples arms... is just scary. i'm constantly afraid that my sleeve will slip and someone will see my arm. i have lied to my friends and parents in order to hide it. it is a slippery slope, my friend, and you will regret stepping on that hill.

*spend less time in the room where you cut. I cut in my room, and i am trying to get away from it. it is harder to cut in the open.

*depression is hard and is difficult to deal with on your own. talk to a trusted friend who has gone through your situation and come out on top. if you don't have a friend like that, just talk to a trusted friend. they can help support you.

*call 911 immediatly. life is not worth ending. no matter how hard it gets, just don't do it. take a walk, watch TV, go to a movie, call a friend, i don't care. JUST DO SOMETHING TO DISTRACT YOU! whenever i think about cutting (nearly all the time) i sign onto AIM and chat with a friend about something other than cutting. it helps me more than you would think.

suicide is a very permanent solution to a very temporary problem. if you want, you can email me. i am a good listener and distracter. you can defeat your depression!

if your depression is temporary just move , take a bath, dress properly,smartly ,call sum friend or alone go out for some fun,watch some cartoons or go to water park etc. any fast/entertaining activity that you enjoy.Else you can go to some rehabilitation center/blind school/orphange etc. and make others feel happy and also giving yourself goody -goody feeling.

if ur depression is persisting since long go to psychiatrist
