Nacho chips:

Ingredients: 1 cup corn meal flour
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
oil to deep fry

Method: Mix the two flours and knead to a dough like for rotis.

Roll out rotis and cook on both sides over high heat over a griddle and keep aside.

Cut into desired sized pieces and deep fry till crisp and brown.

Chocolate Pots:

Ingredients: 150 gm bitter chocolate
25 gm butter
3 eggs separated
1 tbsp rum

To decorate
whipped cream and nuts

Method: Melt the chocolate and the butter together in a bowl placed over a pan of simmering water.

Remove the pan from the heat. While still warm, stir in the egg yolks and leave the mixture to cool. Whip the egg whites to a soft peak stage.

Gently fold into the chocolate mixture. Flavour with rum and pour into small dishes. Chill overnight.

Decorate with whipped cream and nuts before serving.

Jelly Mould:

Ingredients: 1 packet flavored jelly
2 cups water
bowl for setting the jelly

Method: Boil one cup of the water. Sprinkle the contents of the packet over it and stir till dissolved.

Mix in the other cup of water. Rinse the jelly bowl in tap water and pour the mixture into it. Refrigerate for about 1 1/2 hours or till set.

To serve dip the bowl in a pan of hot water for just a second or so and turn it upside down on to a serving plate.

You can also serve it in the bowl itself.

Eggless pineapple pastry:

Ingredients: 8"2 plain vanilla sponge square
1 cup pineapples-chopped fine
3 tbsp pineapple juice/syrup
3 cups cream-chilled
1 tbsp sugar
cherries and pineapple slices for garnish

Method: Whip the cream with the sugar, till it holds its shape. Be careful not to over beat, as it will turn into butter.

Place one sponge on the plate upside down, remove the paper and spread the chopped pineapple over it in a layer.

Spread a layer of cream over this and cover with the second sponge, upside down.

Remove the paper and sprinkle with the juice/syrup. Now cover neatly with a layer of cream. Cut into desired sized rectangles and decorate with piped whipped cream.

Garnish with the pineapple slice and cherries, chill and serve.

Chocolates from cocoa:

1/2 cup milk powder

It would help if you listed foods they like or don't like...but as far as children go, pasta with tomato sauce (or mac and cheese made with low fat milk) are always good choices. Chicken fingers/nuggets..but try to make them yourself or buy frozen, avoid fast food at all costs! Grilled cheese is a good choice too, but make them eat some veggies or soup with it. Tomato soup is the standard, but try some cut up cucumbers with a little bit of salt sprinkled on the insides. Soo good...I remember eating that as a kid and loving it.
Breakfast should be easy enough...I've never seen anyone turn down a pancake or a waffle. You can make them yourself, or again, resort to the freezer section of the grocery store. Try cutting up some fresh fruit for them too. If you have to, spread a small amount of peanut butter on the fruit if they refuse. It will please their palate and provide protein.

my mom used to make eggs in a nest, and it's very easy.

separate the yoke from the whites.
Beat the whites till stiff
put whites on a slice of toast or bread
make a hole in the whites in the middle and put yoke in it
Bake in oven til yoke is cooked and whites are light brown

Temperature and time very with different ovens so you will need to experiment

you could use a toaster oven as well.

when I was a kid my sisters and I used to go crazy over these at Breakfast.

Here are a few dinner recipes:

Perfect tuna Casserole:
( you would need to double this recipe):

Measure out 2/3 cup of macoroni noodle and cook according to directions. Drain.

In casserole dish, add tuna, 1/4 cup mile, can of Campbell's cream of mushroom soup, 1 1/2 cup frozen peas, and the cooked noodles. Stir and salt and pepper to taste.

Cook 30 minutes on 350 degrees, uncovered. If you want, you can then top with bread crumbs and cook another 5 minutes.

Hamburger Tator Tot Casserole:

Brown 1 1/2 to 2 lbs ground beef, and 1 onion (diced). Salt and pepper to taste. Drain. Mix with 1 can campbell's cream of mushrrom soup, 1 can french style green beans (drained). Put in casserole dish. Top with single layer of tator tots. Cook uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 - 40 minutes (TILL TOTS ARE CRISP).

Here's a sausage stew recipe I make in the crockpot, which is quite yummy:

This crockpot sausage stew is made with Italian sausage, potatoes, garlic and onions, tomatoes, bell peppers; and seasonings.
INGREDIENTS:
2 to 3 medium potatoes, peeled, cubed
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1 to 1 1/2 pounds Italian sausages
1 large clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can (15 ounces) stewed tomatoes
2 cups chicken broth
1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 medium green bell peppers, seeded, chopped
PREPARATION:
Lightly grease or spray slow cooker; place potatoes in bottom of pot.
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add sausage links and brown. Slice links into 1-inch pieces and transfer to slow cooker.

Add garlic and onion. In a separate bowl, combine tomatoes, chicken broth, tomato paste, oregano, salt, and pepper; stir to blend. Pour mixture over the sausages in crockpot. Add bell peppers. Cover and cook on LOW setting 8 to 10 hours, until potatoes are tender.
Serve in bowls with garlic bread.

Hope that helps!

Waffles with peanut butter and applesauce on them. Sounds weird, I know, but it's really good. Also, anything you could make a face on, like toast, waffles, pancakes. Make faces with PB, chocolate chips, whipped cream, berries, etc.

For dinner, when I was little, I always loved fishsticks, and mac n cheese with hot dogs chopped in it. Spaghetti and chicken nuggets are also usually liked by kids.

Maybe try having your kids get involved in cooking dinner. Then they might be interested in eating it.
