Is there really a point to it? Doesnt the whole concept of 'terroir' get thrown out the window? Or is it all in the grape and it doesnt matter?

Not if I knew ahead of time it was made from cloned grapes

What do you mean by 'cloned' wine? All wine grapes are clones - reproduction is by taking cuttings, and vines of the same variety develop clonal variations which are known and chosen for their characteristics by winemakers and viticulturists.

Almost all the Chat. Rothchilds from Chile are....and I have to admit, they were wonderful - Havent had a drink in quite a while, but those were a mad love affair of mine....
Grafted myclones or not, they were the stuff of losing ones mind in wine lust.
