I have notice that my budgie has been losing feathers,and not eating so i thought i would have a closer look at my bird and saw about 2 tiny little bugs under the feathers .How do i know what it is!!! what can i do???

ICheck the cere of your bird's beak; the part over the beak itself, which, assuming your bird is an adult, will be either brown for a female or blue for a male; it will probably be a pinkish colour if your bird is not yet grown. Anyway, if the cere has an unusual crust forming, your bird will have mites. I advise taking your budgie to the vet immediantly.

If you are a responsible bird owner you will have a vet that specializes in birds not just a regular vet either. Take your bird to the vet because by the time they show symptoms they are pretty sick Call your vet asap.
