it sound like he is healing already. probably doesn't need a vet visit. and that one answer saying that you should take him to the vet or else the pup will have problems with arthritis, the vet has no way of preventing arthritis

I would advise you to at least call your veterinarian and tell some one there what happened. If they feel that the pup should be looked at then bring him in. It could be sprained or bruised. But, it would be a good idea contact the vet. They will probably take an X-ray to see what is wrong. I hope this helps you out a bit. Good luck!

I hope its not serious. I cant beleive you havent taken him to the vet yet. How about someone drop you from ten feet on your leg and let you screem for a day. Than whenever you stop screaming they move your leg. After three days they decide to post a question to people who cant see you to ask if they think you are ok. HE DOESNT LIKE TOWALK BECAUSE HE IS PROBABLY RELLY HURT. FEEL REALLY GUILTY!!!!!

Well, it couldn't hurt to take him to the vet and have his leg looked at. If there is something wrong you don't want it to heal wrong and then he has a problem with his leg for the rest of his life.

He probably has a fracture. If you don't get him seen by a vet he will end up with arthritis in that leg later in life. You need to take him NOW.
