I am on a diet and have lost 10 lbs. but I am struggling w/my temptations to eat something. Is there anything you could recommend?? I would appreciate it so much! Thank you.

Drink lots of water, especially before you eat!

If you eat small meals every couple of hours, you won't get hungry. I lost a lot of weight that way. An average day would be breakfast at 8, a snack at 10 (like flavored water and a banana with peanut butter or yogurt with frozen berries mixed in), then lunch at 12 or 1, then another snack at 3, then dinner at 5 or 6. IF you do this you will never be hungry!

Eat small amounts throughout the day .... 6 times a day is recommended. And drink plenty of water.

And if you have a taste for something ... do it in moderation ...... have a couple Hershey's kisses instead of an entire candy bar. Have a scoop of ice cream....but put it in a coffee cup, not a bowl. Want a steak .... fine, have one -- the 6 oz sirloin, not the 18 ouce T-Bone.

It's not about dieting ..... it's about making healthy yet satisfying choices when it comes to eating. You are more apt to stick with it.

Drinking lots of water suppresses your appetite because it makes you feel full. Also, stay physically and mentally active. I heard that if you have a craving for food that if you can wait 15 minutes the craving will go away. So if you stay active, you won't think about eating as much.

actually, if you're hungry you shouldn't suppress those temptations. the longer you hold off on food, the hungrier you will become, and then you'll get to a point where you can't take it and you will totally gorge yourself on everything. weight watchers suggests that you should eat healthy foods when you're hungry to avoid gorging yourself.

besides, hunger pains are your body telling you that you're getting low on blood sugar. you can only go so long suppressing these pains before you pass out!

they say drinking water helps fill you up....

Perhaps try drinking more water or if you want to eat, snack on some veggies or fruit... you can always dip them in yogurt to add extra flavor.
Congrats on the weight loss by the way :) it's never easy to lose weight.

eat more fruits and vegetables and avoid oily food.it is not gd for u to starve as it will affect ur health...juz eat some healthy food which is not oily and say gdbye to mcdonalds,burger king,kfc,etc for a while and no potato chips and pastries either!
