From my own personal experience? I gotta tell ya, I luuuuuuuuv being married. I hated being single. Dating, clubbing, getting to know new men all over again.......it's all behind me. I always have someone to go to the movies with, someone to cook with, someone to help me shovel the driveway, I always have someone to complain about my day to when I get home from work, and I always have a shoulder to cry on and so does he. We have everything in common and we get along great. When I was single I didn't have all this. I'd have to go with marriage on this one!

It can be. Both being married or single is what you make of it. I was married when I was 20 years old and stayed for 3yrs. After that marriage I swore I would never do it again. Then I dated and dated and dated. Hated being single. I needed that commitment. and I'm grateful I have it. Honestly, the only way for you to know the answer to your question is for you to experience it. GOOD LUCK

I have had married life and now I live alone for the last 10 years. At this point in my life with my children grown, I prefer living alone. I can do as I please, when I please, and how I please without worrying about anybody elses schedule or requirements. I spent most of my life from age 11 til age 45 caring for others wants, needs, and desires. It is now my time to live how I want to. It may seem selfish but I put in my time doing for others.

I definitely think that the single life is better. So many people are sacrificing their freedom out of fear of dying alone, without realizing how rewarding it can be. This must be stopped.
