The key to losing weight is a good exercise routine that is intense enough to burn the fat coupled with healthy foods. Your exercise should be a combination of cardio such as jogging, walking, or using a treadmill. Eat fewer carbs and fatty foods. Also cut out the sodas and junk. Do this and you are sure to lose weight. There is more good information you can read here.

go to the experts who can give you the best advice, if you want to lose weight, improve your health generally, and have more energy then getting some nutritional help is vital. Once your body starts to absorb the right nutrients and vitamins and protein then you’ll be amazed how quickly you will feel the difference, usually within the first 48 hours if you get the right supplements and help. I had no energy and felt just generally rotten all round so I sought the advice of a nutritional coach (whose advice was FREE) and got myself some great products, I even got free samples before I got started so I could see just how good they were!! There is a website called myhealthabc.com If go on there and fill out the details page you will get a call with no pressure about what you need. There is a mall area as well that’s got some great info and its all set out with easy to follow headings so you can find what you want. It’s so easy and the stuff they have is excellent. I have been using their products for over two years and I feel great. I lost 70 pounds in less than seven months!! My sister lost 60 pounds in five months.

Best way to start losing weight is a lifestyle change.

Make a plan to take the stairs, or walk to the store for light grocery shops on a daily basis if that is reasonable in your neighbourhood.

Remember that athletes need to take in A LOT of calories to keep healthy, so it's not always your calorie intake that you need to adjust first. Increase your metabolism (eat 6 - 8 smaller meals a day, most importantly, start with a large breakfast, and end with a small dinner, no less than 2 hrs before bed), increase your activity (don't have to spend lots of $$$, just get more active). Try something like volunteer at a zoo, or a daycare to have fun and FORCE yourself to make a committment to getting healthy.

Also, make sure to set yourself a realistic weight loss goal. If you are 220 lbs today for example, don't expect to be 130 by summer... or even the end of the year. That could be dangerous which defeats the purpose of getting healthier/losing weight. Average yourself 2lbs of weightloss per week. If you lose more, you'll be happy, and if you lose less... then you know u need to keep active.

All those expensive diets, books, companies, shakes, etc... are waste-oids for your hard earned dollar. If you want to lose weight, you will make a committment to yourself. And you don't have to spend hundreds of $$$ per month to do it. There's tons of free online support if you're so inclined. And you might even know a friend or relative who wants to join with you!

Good luck and happy losing!

Nourish your body thin, instead of starving your body fat. Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic load. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin and healthy. Salt has no calories but makes you fat and burning more calories does not help this fatness.

If you don't exercise regularly, you might want to start walking a mile a day. A week later you start jogging it, and then you go a mile and a half.
A way to eat healthier is to write down everything you eat. If you write down what you eat will be more aware of the consequences and even feel a little guilty. Good Luck!

Find a nutriitionist or a nutrition teacher to talk about the correct portions of what you have to eat during each feeding phase and start to work out but with simple exercises then gradually go to more complex exercises.
