i'm not realli sure what it is supposed to mean but i'll tell u what i take it as! LoL...to me that is refereing to romance...i see it as meaning pick the brightest star, ur brightest dream, ur brightest wish, no matter how crazi it is and hold onto it forever! never let go and never give up! also take along a friend/companion to help u fulfil that dream or wish and make them a part of it (as in getting married or something) haha...not sure if thats on the money, but thats how i take it! :]]

I think it could be interpretted to mean to take your friends into your dreams, though. I doubt it.

Dreams are your wishes expressed in dreams. Make a wish on a star, they first star you see at night. Make it with a friend and help each other's wishes & dreams come true.
