Why did ur dad give your puppy away? I know how you feel it is so difficult losing a dog, i had a maltese terrier 5 yrs old Ralph who died suddenly, it took 5 yrs before i was able to get another one your right there is no replacing a dog that you've lost especially if your like me and wear your heart on your sleave, ppl may tell you it was for the best but that doesn't make the hurt any less. The sadness your feeling only tells me how much the puppy meant to you. there is nothing i could say to change whats happened just remember that even though the puppy is gone the love you gave it is irreplaceable, dogs never forget where they came from. It will get easier i promise hang in there things will be better take care

What was the reason your dad gave away your puppy? It's hard to lose a pet, I know but if the reason is that you aren't able to feed and give proper medical treatments and someone else can than you would for that puppy's well being let it go. Animals have to have medical treatment to keep it healthy.
Nothing is ever going to replace your puppy but realize it's in a good home, even though yours was just as good.

You have to console yourself. At the most you can have some consolation from your mother if she also loves the pup. Since you understand that another puppy will not replace it, wait for the appropriate time to have a puppy of your own.

I have lost many pets through the years and the pain is always so overwhelming. It will come and go and eventually become more bearable. I still choke up when I think alot about my dogs I loved so much. we can always be grateful for having had them for a while and I talk to my dogs in doggie heaven when I feel like it. Bless you.

Keep crying. All dads will give in. I have done it so many times as a dad and also as a son, unless your dad has some real solid reason not to keep the pup.

All the best!!!
