Some people have an adverse reaction with the ingredients of deodorants. Maybe this is your case.
I suggest you change deodorants and washing soap. Maybe it's the body soap you use that's causing the odor. Check your shirts in the arm pits and see if after washing them they still have a smell. This smell can permanently be in your shirts as well.
If all else fails use baking soda for a deodorant. It is not harmful to you.

you will find that the 'smell' will change depending on what you have been eating.
eating heaps of processed food will cause a build up of toxins in the system and will increase the strength of the 'smell'. sweating is natural and should not be stopped by using a anti-perspirant ... a deodorant if need be but this is only adding to the toxins being put into your system.
you can use wipes if you need to clean the area and are not able to just lean over a sink and give your armpits a wash. have a bottle of an antibacterial wash with you for the purpose.
the cause though, is it comes from what you put into your body so that choice is yours as to whether to change the diet or take the steps necessary to make yourself comfortable and not be worried about your 'smell' :D

Hello!
you can try turnip juice to reduce armpit sweating odor
Some people claim that turnip juice can be effective at reducing excessive sweating, as it reduces activity in the sweat glands.
If you're willing to give it a try, you can extract the juice from a turnip by grating it with a vegetable grater, then squeezing the grated flesh.
You can then apply the turnip juice directly onto the armpits or other areas affected by sweating. Alternatively, you can drink the turnip juice or use it in a healthy smoothie.
I'm very lucky to read a book: http://adola.net/go/sweatmiracle/
In this book, there are all the problems you had and how to cure it.
Try and follow it, I believe it's helpful for you.
Good luck!

Could be in the hair. I was tortured by my smelly armpits a year ago. I read every online posting, tried every deodorant on the market (yes the crystal stuff, Certain-dry, someone even suggested vinegar), and I changed my diet. It wouldn't end. I'd be in the ladies room at work every hour washing my pits and reapplying whatever travel sized stick I was on. Then, I started waxing. I don't even wear deodorant now. The only time a catch a faint glimpse of odor is when its time to go back in for another wax.

If you ask this question, then you must be fairly young. But to answer your question, there sure is. The cause of those smells is sweat. You cannot stop sweating because this is your body's way of getting rid of stuff that it doesn't need. But you can stop it. All you need to do is to go to the store and buy a can of men's deodorant. Spray it on your armpits and the smells will stop.

well, smell on the armpit must be the result of body odor. Maybe you might like to wash your armpit with gentle soup and keep it dry by applying powder.

If you have body odor, your going to need to change your diet.
Drink more fluids and exercise more frequently.
The human body has a way to let you know that toxins are present and need to be disposed of.
