me and another girl my age work as receptionists in a nursing home, we alternate nights, so either one of us is there alone, at night. there is no security, and the nurses upstairs often ignore our pages and calls. there is this guy who's been coming in for about a year now, who is always just a little too friendly. he comes into visit his grandmother about 3-4 times a week. he's always asking questions, and we get repeated hang up calls , equally timed 10 mins difference or so in between, where whoever they are just breathes on the other end. then about 20-30 mins later, he comes in. one day i filled in for my coworker, who reported him for following her out to her car numerous times and inviting her to his house, and parking next to her, and i worked a double shift from the morning into when she would normally be working. we got about 3 hang up calls in the morning, but then the second the hour struck when my coworker would come in , whoever it was started calling nonstop.

The weird part was, there was the same amount of time between calls. Then , sure enough he comes in about 20 mins later. As he’s signing in, he says “ you’re still here? You’ve been here all day” and I just looked at him, freaked out- there was no way he’d know that information. He gave me this weird smirk and he was like “ no I mean you’re still here, and not in school?” (this was a Sunday). It just creeped me out. I reported this to my boss, who told us to start keeping a “hang-up” log. Then, Friday, I worked a double shift and again, he did not show up at all to visit that day. At 7 oclock, I walked out to my car as usual and saw a car, similar to his, start up and put its headlights on, facing me. I didn’t think much of it bc I hadn’t seen him that day,so I just started up my car. Then I happened to look out the window, and he’s driving by my parking spot,

You have a persistant stalker and the nurses upstairs are ignoring your pages and calls. I wouldn't want to be a resident of that nursing home. Who's in charge there anyway? Let me guess, the nurses are fat, from setting around and sleeping on the job. You have a dead end job there. I'd look for something else and fast. However, even before that you should report your stalker to the police, and I'd sure mention that the nurses ignore your calls. Adult Protective Services should be asked to run an inspection on the place too, because it sure seems like a dangerous place for old people. Good luck.

Have someone to confront him your boss, the police, your boyfriend or the sheriff dept. Tell him to stay away from the nurses and receptionists or he will be arrested. He is only to come there during visiting hours. Never hang around the parking lot.

you need to talk to your boss and make it evident that you are scared of this man and that your boss needs to take further action to protect your safety. is your boss a guy? because sometimes guys don't get the creepiness of being a woman alone at night!!

you could also just flat out call the police if this guy is showing up acting weird again. i'm sure they would be more than willing to come over and ask the guy questions and/or escort you safely to your car.

If you are not comfortable with the situation, you have to do something about it. Trust your instincts. Call 911 and file a report. Let the experts check out the who's and what's. That's what we pay them for. Don't take anything for granted, get it checked out so you can go to work without being scared.

Why is this in the under the "hair" subtitle? Get a big boyfriend. JK. But that is a serious issue.

1. Get a new job
2. get a bodyguard
3. get someone to hang around with you at work.
4. Ask your boss to hire someone else

You and your co-woker should get a license plate number to make sure it's the same car. And if it happens next time report it to the police.

You need to go to your local police station, and make them aware of what's going on. From what you've wrote there is cause for concern. Please be careful!! And Report all of this to the police.
