My front tooth is chipped a little bit in the corner, on the top layer

juz go to the dentist and tell him to fill the tooth,,, it's called restorative dentistry to restore the condition of the tooth to the original.

If it's chipped "a little bit in the corner," you might get by with just having it polished off a bit and that's all you need.

If you look in the mirror and say, "No way that's gonna do it," you can probably have a little bonded filling material placed to fix it. The cost would probably be under $150 for that, if it's really small. Maybe well under $150.

You do not need a crown a simple tooth coloured filling should suffice

You need a crown but you might get away with veneer. However only your dentist can tell you exactly.
