Because criminals have been glorified by the media and popular culture. Pimps and gansters are examples of sucess while decent members of society are characterized as being 'weak'.

Perhaps in this country its getting a lot tougher with the prime rate so high and this governments agenda of stupidity, o, and the trillions of dollars deficit, that it is a struggle to live and maintain in this costly and expensive economy, a lot of people are struggling, the ones that at least are employed, and when anxiety and anger hit there termination point, people get mean, violent, and that in turns has a snoball effect upon other people they come in contact with so here we have a whole people pissed off due to the bad decisions of a few key people in this administration and there "dictator".Im sorry, President. .

I agree with you it's not in one country. People don't care for others feelings, don't care to be polite, don't care for important details. People consider politeness as entertainment topic.
I think the effect of the material life and low culture has the biggest effect.

Because people have become desensitized by what the media and internet has to offer. Bad grammer, manners, dress code ,violence and the ubiquitous pornography thinly veiled in sitcoms, movies etc. It is every man for himself, and as they lose respect for themselves they slide into that morass which they they accept as happiness.

Lack of discipline for children because government doesnt want parents to punish their kids period (I am not referring to people that torture their kids or outright abuse them). Issues in todays society stirs alot of emotions and biased opinions. Lastly, some people are just that way regardless.

the reason is that there trying to feel good about themselfs so they make fun of other people to feel that your the one thats different and some times different is good also you need to just say i dont care and if they continue then say that theres so many thung i can say about you but uts best to hold my tounge then if that dont work kick them in the shine>.<
