If North Korea and the USA go to war it would be the end of the USA. North Koreas crazy midget on acid would drop a nuke on us quicker than Britney Spears leaving rehab. Not much you can counter with after that.

In any case the US would get hundreds of thousands of korean refugees and pay to rebuild the country. So there is no chance of the USA "winning" a war with North Korea. In either scenario it would cost the US big time.

djlockerbox or w/e ur name is... do you realize how big the united states is... one nuclear bomb will not kill them... if the united states get's nuked by korea, korea can expect many nukes... and a few nukes would whipe the whole country off the face of the map...

but the answer to the ?..

You put politics aside USA will win the war. USA could kill any country/race off the map if you put away civilian casulties, Rules of engagements, and politics. The united states could completely whipe the human race as we konw it off the planet with all of it's nuclear bombs. The USA could put the whole planet under nuclear winter and radiation, and end life. One small shitty peninsula called korea wont stop them.

I believe we will see China slowly and bloodlessly reform and change North Korea over the next 10 years, and I hope we stand behind them as they do it. The North Korean people deserve better, and while China has its faults, China also has alot of resources and potential. If anyone can do it without firing a shot, they can.

North Korea is believed to have enough radioactive material to make about a half-dozen atomic bombs, and its main nuclear reactor remains in operation to create more weapons-grade plutonium.
So, what is the US going to do? Start another pre-emptive war?

No they won't go to war. If you've been watching the news you'd realize N. Korea has changed their stance on Nuclear Arms.

If we did go to war, we'd lose just like we've lost in Iraq. The people of countries like N. Korea fight for something worth more than americans. Their lives, we fight to "keep" ability to go to starbucks, watch television, complain about our political process and not even vote.

We're hoping that will never be the case. But to answer your question..........the winner is obvious. The North Korean people would do anything to be liberated from that tyrant leader of theirs. I think if it came down to it, they would side with the U.S. if war broke out.
