Um...you could be having an allergic reaction to something, maybe pink eye or another kind of infection, or if you play videogames, then some of the blood vessels in your eyes might have burst. That used to happen to me a lot, and it freaked me out at first until I heard that it happens to everyone who plays in the dark. If you don't play videogames and it's been like that for a couple days, go see a doctor.

Ok well when I was born I had gotten this family thing that shows red circles around your eyes. I hate it. in the morning when i have to clean my eyes. Just go to a drug store and look for something to put in your eyes. But if that doesnt work then ask to see a doctor. The doctor may be able to get you some medicines for it.

I hope you find some success!!

Stop rubbing your eyes, if visine doesn't work, than see an eye doctor. You can try putting ice in a towel and apply to your forehead/eyes areas and wash your eyes out with eye solution from any over the counter presciption. All stores sell eye wash....good luck, if not see a eye doctor.

A couple of things come to mind that have not been mentioned. First is blepharitis which is a condition caused by the eye lid not cleansing the eye ball correctly and sometime your eye lashes can turn in and irritate your eye to where it is frequently red. You might try washing your outer eye with baby shampoo so it wont burn and make sure your lashes are not the problem.

Do you wear contacts? My husband found out that his contacts didn't allow enough oxygen to his eyes, so the veins in his eyes started to grow towards his cornea. This caused his eyes to look very red. Just an idea...if this is a possibility, go see your eye dr. My husband changed to daily wear contacts and after a little while his eyes went back to normal.

You could have conjuntivitus, which is an inflammation of the membrane lining the eye. If regular eye drops have not been working, you may be causing more damage by putting them in there. Keep your hands clean and go to the doctor.

Conjunctival inflammation typically occurs from infection, allergy, or irritation. Symptoms are conjunctival hyperemia and ocular discharge and, depending on the etiology, discomfort and itching. Diagnosis is clinical; sometimes cultures are indicated. Treatment depends on etiology and may include topical antibiotics, antihistamines, mast cell stabilizers, and corticosteroids.
Consult an Ophthalmologist.

it probably is pink eye, but it could also be allergies. you don't need to have the swelling in order for it to be pink eye. you could try visine for allergies or go to your doc and see if it is bacterial and you need antibiotics.

Don't rub them. It sounds like you have allergic conjuctivitis. Take benadryl before you go to bed, use drops, and be very careful not to rub or scratch-that'll just make them feel worse.
