To put in simply, I am disgusted by my body. I try to work out, but I have gotten so discouarged that it's hard for me to exercise. I need to know, is this an ok weight for me or am I correct in desperately wanting to lose weight?

If you are 5'7 and wear a size 8, then you sound like you are in great shape. 165lbs isn't a bad weight for your height, if you were 5'0, then the weight would be a problem, but your height/ weight ratio sounds good. If you are truly concerned with it, then ask your doctor. But from what you are describing, then you have nothing to worry about.

Tuff Luv... are you crazy??? I am 6 inches shorter then her and weight 130 and am at a very health weight. She would probably look unhealthy if she weighed that. It depends on things such as bust size. A big breasted women (me) would weigh more then a small breasted women. It also depends on your body type and the only way to truly find out, is to ask your physician.

you should be weighing about 130-140.

Just exercise to feel better. Don't do it to lose weight. Feeling better will encourage you to live better and eat better.
