I went to Disney World today, and I was on my feet for over 11 hours walking around the parks. I guess my shoes weren't the best to be doing this in. I have quite a few large blisters on each foot. None of them have popped yet; that's good right?
I was just wondering if anyone had any quick relief techniques. I've got to be on my feet for over 6 hours tomorrow for work, and can't go in the pain they're causing right now...
Thanks a lot.

Because you are going to be on your feet at work, the blisters are going to pop. Fluid will drain, and they may start to hurt. So, coat your feet in Vaseline petroleum jelly or a lot of thick lotion or cream today, if you have it. Then put on some heavy cotton socks. Get off your feet as much as possible for the day, and reapply the cream or petroleum jelly, and the socks before bedtime. By tomorrow, your feet should be feeling much better. Good luck. Repeat by the way when you get home from work.

You should drain the blisters, with a needle as mentioned previously, or a sharp blade like a razor. Do not, however pull the old skin off. Leave the old skin on, and it will help to protect the newly forming skin underneath. This will help in terms of pain and decrease chances of infection, as long as you can keep your feet clean. An ointment is good to put on also, as with the soft, thick socks.

do not pop your blisters as some have counseled. The fluid interior the blister is there to help with the therapeutic and acts as a cushion. different than what you have completed there is not lots else you're able to do. save them extra advantageous to dodge swelling and save them sparkling and dry. i'd use the Neosporin for some days and notice in the event that they're therapeutic on their own. in the event that they're i'd end the neosporin and initiate up allowing them to get some air so they are going to dry up and end therapeutic. Take some ibuprofen to help with the inflammation and discomfort. Sorry you're hurting; i desire they heal quickly.

I always drained them with a sterilized needle to remove the fluid. I would then soak my feet in Epsom salts.Link below has some good remedies.
