if affect memory? or lost memory?

Loss of memory is not one of the main symptoms usually associated with pancreatic cancer. I can give you a few ideas, though, of how it could be related. One is that people with pancreatic cancer are sometimes depressed (sometimes even before they get the diagnosis), and depression can affect memory. Another idea is that pain medications taken for the pain of pancreatic cancer could possibly affect memory. Another possibility is that the cancer may have spread to another organ, and the dysfunction of that organ may be causing the memory problems. Hopefully that is not the case.

Those are just some ideas, but of course, this is a question to ask the doctor who knows the patient best.

Pancreatic cancer is sometimes called a "silent disease" because early pancreatic cancer often does not cause symptoms. But, as the cancer grows, symptoms may include:

Pain in the upper abdomen or upper back

Yellow skin and eyes, and dark urine from jaundice

Weakness

Loss of appetite

Nausea and vomiting

Weight loss

These symptoms are not sure signs of pancreatic cancer. An infection or other problem could also cause these symptoms. Only a doctor can diagnose the cause of a person's symptoms. Anyone with these symptoms should see a doctor so that the doctor can treat any problem as early as possible.

i do not think that memory has to do with pancreas cancer but i do know that Alzheimer's disease has that symptom. good luck with everything!
