Im trying to record a VHS to camcorder so i can connect my camcorder via firewire so i can do so i can do some editing and eventually put on a disc. Does anyone know how to do this?

The only way to get VHS to your camcorder is if your camcorder has an analog video in jack. Look for the port on your camcorder or in the manual. The camcorder probably would have come with a cable that can connect between the port and a VCR.
Otherwise, it might be easier just to go directly from VHS to your computer by getting a capture card from ATI, Hauppauge, or Pinnacle. Most local electronic retailers (eg Best Buy) will have a selection of them. There's been some previous answers on here about this.
