No it would not. The Bible is not a fact filled, un-biased, collection of works. It is a volume filled with censored, politically arranged stories written hundreds of years after the death of every one written of. How can people hold it up as the true Gospel when it has been changed through the ages as the leaders of the time/church saw fit to change it. The masses were uneducated and only learned of the bible and it's teachings as they were taught...from "mans" point of view. So how reliable is it? And how reliable were the leaders? Think about how blood soaked the history of the church is....how many millions died as heretics? How many are judged daily on what they give/think/wear/believe?

The belief that the future can be different...that hunger, racism, religious persecution, and disease will be gone. That the world and beyond will be above the petty but very real issues of today and strive forward to something better...knowledge, exploration, tolerance & willingness to be better and stronger. It is a wonderful asperation and isn't it wonderful that the creator and writers of Star Track snuck that one in on us? Hope and work towards just a future and you will make a difference.

For a person of your caliber, no I would not be surprised. I learned it mostly by reading what persecution really was in the historical record. Now when people think they are being persecuted for being told to accept this or that God, they shame the people who were truly persecuted.

Not at all, in fact Barney the dinosaur is a better role model than most characters in the bible.

An amazing show. Remember when Kirk kissed Uhuru? That was probably more important than Rosa Parks. Of course, Kirk probably would have kissed Rosa Parks too if she wore a miniskirt above her waist..

The klingons are a wise race.

Too bad they can't enlighten their viewers on a way to get laid.
