if the weather permits... we'll be in corporate worship with our brothers and sisters in Christ... if the snow keeps us home, we will have our worship here at home... \o/

I agree- which Lord??
I believe in G-d, as a Jew, but I don't believe we have any other Lord. I believe in true monotheism, not in multiple gods to worship, no offense to anyone else

Yeaah! The beauty of it all is others have absolutely no idea the spirit he's put within our hearts and souls. We have this communication with him that we're just bursting at the seams to tell everybody! But they just keep muttering around like the sadducees and pharasees--still accusing us (over 2,000 yrs. later) of "forcing it down their throats"--when it's actually quite the opposite. But we hold his blessing(s) and someday they'll regret not having. For "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for great is their reward in heaven. He told us, we believe it, we'll receive it as he promised. Even if he doesn't come back during our lifetime--we still have the promise he gave us. God Bless:)

I can't decide if I should if I should go help a baby whose mother is starving, watch a baby born to a drug addict go through withdrawal, comfort a child abused by a priest or close my mind and give praise for all the beauty in the world. I know, I'll close my mind and give praise, being smug is sooo much easier to deal with.

I think if I were to take the time to look at "all his creation" it would take me entirely too much time to worry about where I should be in the morning.

Yes, he is right down to giving the human race freedom of choice to serve him or not as they choose. Sadly many do not know him and refuse his existence or try to blame the bad choices people make on him!
God loves us just as we are and gives us experiences and opportunities to become what he knows we have the potential to be!

yes he is because if he wasn't the bubonic plague could have reached farther than it did and no one would have survived... in the first place who started the bubonic plague?? the people. they were putting their garbage everywhere till the rats came and the plague appeared. God never left any of us alone... there will be trying times but if you survive it God must have had a hand on it.
when there was this volcanic eruption... in my region we were saved... the eruption was one of the biggest ever in that country... but we were saved even if lava was rolling down the mountains down to our little barangay we were saved... some died... some survived, we prayed because there was no water, no food, no bloody help from the government but we were saved. we said the rosary over and over, my baby brother was hungry and a woman was giving birth in the refuge we were in but we made it through.
soldiers came and they had food with them and over the following days help arrived... after the eruption everyone was in church thanking God that each of us had survived... amid the lost of livelihood we prayed for strenght to bouy us through.... we did not ask for an instant solution because God cannot help you with that you have to work for yourself... and we survived....our region is still the number 1 producer of rice for the country... the ashes from the volcano may have ruined the rice patties, crippled livelihood but we stood up...
when there is disaster only then can you see God's mercy only then will you truly pray

Jesus rocks! I do feel insignificant in the grand scheme of things. The ocean, stars, moon, sun and all of nature are very overwhelming.
