Its only a theory...Do you understand evolution or do you run from it and hide in the Bible? Aren't we humans...cant we think?? Why would we return our abilities to think, become sheep, and just have faith in God?

Gravity's a theory too, but that does not mean that it is wrong. Both gravity and evolution have all but been proven, and ideas to the contrary just don't work. I understand evolution a lot, as I can think and I have taken AP Biology and am a bio nerd. I do not believe in the bible or in god, as I am an atheist, which is led by the ability to think, not have blind faith in an entity that argues with logic.

My honest opinion is this (and I have done some extensive thinking on this) I feel that there is a supreme power in the universe. Now whether that is God or not I don't know, but with the way that the universe was created out of a single event that created everything perfectly is proof of that (the big bang for those reading my answer) However I also believe that there is evolution, it is only natural that in some forms life would evolve on this planet. Just look at man over the past 6000 years of recorded history, the way that we have evolved our thought process, learned new ways to survive and make our lives easier is undeniable proof that we have evolved. To close one's mind to either one of the thoeries would be sheer ignorance. The truth is that creationsim and evolution complement each other so well that to discount one leaves the other in jeopardy of failing. So to those who say that anyone who believes in evolution is an Athiest or is going to hell, I say this look at your life, and look how it has changed over the years, we have all experienced evolution in our lives. It may not be an extra eye or a 6th finger, but they have been small changes like of our thought process, the fact that man can run faster than ever, hold thier breath longer, memorize entire books after reading it just once.

Atheists through the centuries have scoffed, tyrants have threatened the Bible's utter destruction, yet they, like all of God's opponents have passed into oblivion and the Bible shines brighter today than ever before...The Bible is the greatest book ever to be delivered into human hands. Through thousands of years the Bible has been the center of moral standard of the civilized world. It has been the spark which has prompted numerous scientific advances. It has improved the condition of every nation which has receive it with the respect and honor it so richly. The Bible has been a star of hope to countless millions, a comfort to the dying, and a compass to the living. It is a book without equal, but most important of all, it is ' The Word of God which liveth and abideth forever" (1 Peter 1:23)

There are different kinds of evolution. Micro-evolution is a fact, not a theory. Macro-evolution is debatable. It seem odd to me that Bible believers dismiss any kind of evolution. If we are all descendants of the same original couple, as Bible thumpers contend, then we should all resemble them. We don't. Obviously, there was some type of evolution that caused the original couple to have descendants who are tall, thin and dark skinned at the equator, and short, hairy and well insulated at the poles. Asian people don't resemble any of them. How can that be without some type of evolutionary process?

No. I do not believe in evolution. I am using my brain and I see that intelligent design is the only logical answer. In some, not all, cases it seems that evolutionists use the theory so they can have a reason not to believe in God. Base the possibilities and probabilities of the two. Creation makes more sense and is more understanding. You rightly said "evolution is a THEORY" Creation is a fact. Please, please, read Tornado in a Junkyard by James Perloff and get some information

Of course. Gravity is a theory too.

There is a lot of evidence and it is the entire basis for modern biology and genetics. There is absolutely no evidence that supports any god, let alone yours in particular. Here is a list of evidence I put together a few weeks ago:

* Fossils - the order can be determined by stratification alone (no radiological dating) it is unarguable and life started simple and got more complex. Here is a simple chart to show what I mean: http://pubs.usgs.gov/gip/fossils/succession.html
* Anatomical similarities between species.
* Chemical similarities between species.
* Mitochondrial DNA regressive studies. - This comes only from your mother and the only changes to it are through mutations. These mutations occur at a known rate, and converge world wide 150,000 years ago give or take. If Eve (6000 years ago) was the only female, it would be almost identical world wide. It is not. The flood gives a second bottleneck that matches the facts even less well.
* Geographic distribution of related species. Meaning related species are usually near each other.
* Wisdom Teeth - there isn't room on your jaw for them anymore.
* Your little toe - totally useless. Nice intelligent design here.
* Your appendix - totally useless now but it does digest cellulose in other species.
* Your inner eyelids - They don't even work now, but they do for lots of other animals like house cats. Bet you didn't even know you had 'em.
* Vestigial DNA - meaning chromosomes that we have but don't use, but that are used in other species. We have several that other primates use but are totally useless to us.
* The fact that we share so much DNA among species
* There are no wild milk cows. They evolved through artificial selection and are totally man made.
* Different breeds of dogs, cats, livestock.
* Viruses and bacteria evolve quickly and you can actually see it. This is why you need a new flu shot every year.
* Your tail bone. It is even not that uncommon to be born with a tail.
* Goosebumps - this would be useful if we had fur because it fluffs it and makes more insulation. For us it is worthless.
* The hair standing up on your neck when you are frightened. Animals use this to make themselves look bigger. Doesn't work when you walk upright and don't have fur.
* The fact that humans have gotten measurably and heritability taller since the 1600s
* The fact that humans jaw have gotten measurably and heritability smaller since the 1600s
* The fact that humans little toes have gotten measurably and heritability smaller since the 1600s
* Human lower back problems. Your back is intelligently designed to have support from your shoulders.
* Transitional fossils - here are several lists: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_transitional_fossils

I believe in evolution and I also believe in the spirituality of the bible. I do not believe in the Adam and Eve theory, however, i do believe that there was an Adam and Eve and it was the first recorded history.

Yes I believe in evolution but that does not mean I can't believe in God.

I'm only guessing because God didn't provide us many details. But I believe he must exist outside this universe and penetrate it with a force that we are not aware of. He certainly has more dimensions and degrees of freedom than we do.

Science is just science......science did not create earth or people. god created earth...and when god wants the earth to be no more...he will do just that. Nothing we can do about it.....thats just the way it is. Satan is at his best trying to get everyone to not believe the truth of god. We will all be tested many times over and over by god and by satan. It all comes down to this....Do right and believe god and repent and you will live in a much better place than here...heaven!
