how can write to a certain shape? like if you wanted your writing to look like a sprial how can you turn your words into that shape?

Find and try using WordArt in Word. Lots of unique "shapes" for words with that ap.

Keep in mind that MS Word is business software - made for letters, homework, etc..... you can finagle fonts to create creative things, but you'd be better off getting some different software for what you're trying to do.

your problem is font type. You can download gazzilion types of fonts on the web, with numerous styles with spirals or flowers, etc... Then install it. (go to control panel, click fonts tab, click file, then install fonts, then choose the folder where you have saved your downloads, then install.) If you have done this correctly, then the type of font that you want will be selectable at the font type option in word (or any other programs using fonts.) have fun!!
