Should I ask him?
My question is should I approach him about us being in a relationship? He drives trucks and I work night. He has two kids and I have none. We have a good time together but we don't spend that much time together due to our work hours. I don't want a relationship now, but I need to know that if I invest my time in to this do you think it could go somewhere. If you guys think I should ask what are how should I say it with out running him off?? I really would like a males point of view. Email me please if you think you have any suggest. i really need addvice. Vspicer_3@yahoo.com

At this point you don't sound like you want a real relationship and this could cause you to miss out on something special. Since you are spending some time together and have a good time, you should ask him do he enjoy being friends with you or do he think he would ever take it further. A long distance relationship - he's traveling and you working nites with require a lot of dedication on both parts is he ready for that or enjoy the company and stress free atmosphere you provide for him.

I am not a guy, but If you don't want a relationship now, don't risk it. Keep your eyes open, have fun and keep your mouth shut. Talk to a girlfriend, we women think too much for men, you may definitely scare him off. Just be patient and keep your options open. Good luck, I hope it works out. And, remember, two kids is a serious commitment.

I'm not sure if you can ever know for sure that if you 'invest time' in someone that it will turn out for the good.

I think that is the risk that must be taken for love, I mean you can ask him if he is interested in being in a relationship with you or not, but there is always a risk it won't work out.

Sounds like you are unsure of yourself not him.You want him to commit, but you don't want a relationship?Decide what you really want before you ask him anything, that would be fair.Enjoy what you have. You like him being with you&vice versa.Start out slow ask him what he wants?Don't tell him what you want if you don't know. The hours you guys work is good thing.I think it makes you appreciate each other more.

Just tell him exactly what you told us. If he has feelings for you he will tell you. Take the bull by the horns honey! good-luck
